Curriculum

Our Junior School (kg 1 to 6), Middle School (grades 7 to 9), and Senior School (grades 10 to 12) are distinct but interconnected communities that work together to create an exceptional and supportive environment for all students. Lifelong learning is modeled within each school by dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and exceptional staff. As a result, students benefit from a thoughtful and stimulating academic program that builds comprehensive skills in the early years, consolidates skills and furthers intellectual curiosity in the middle years, and culminates in an exceptional university preparation program with Advanced Placement opportunities in the upper years. We work to ensure that every Navjeevan student realizes his/her academic potential in a positive yet challenging way.

Junior School

Strong foundations for life-long learning are established in the Junior School. Our youngest students acquire excellent academic skills while inquiring, exploring, collaborating and problem solving. An enriched academic program is enhanced by a full complement of co-curricular opportunities, from athletics to the arts to LEGO robotics. With Upper School students as their role models and mentors, both academic excellence and leadership begin in the Junior School. Our boys & girls discover that participation, commitment and enthusiasm are the keys to success and fun at Nav Jeevan and in life.

Middle School

Our Middle School is a nurturing and exciting place where students are skillfully guided through the important transition years. Students are provided with the security and predictability of a homeroom class, while learning to adapt to a rotating timetable. All students in grades 7 and 8 benefit from designated LINCWell time when attention is given to the social, emotional and cognitive needs specific to early adolescence. The supportive nature of our Middle School allows students to take on a strong academic program with success, earning up to 5 secondary credits before entering grade 9. National exchange program opportunities, the Junior Round Square program, extended field trips and participation in provincial, national and international academic competitions extend learning far beyond the classroom setting.
